Terms of Use

Last updated: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of dzenresidentialroofingct.com (the "Site"), operated by CT Residential Roof Network ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. We are a referral service, not a contractor

CT Residential Roof Network is an independent directory and referral service. We are not a roofing contractor, general contractor, home improvement contractor or tradesperson. We do not perform roofing, carpentry, insulation, gutter or any other construction work, we do not employ crews, and we hold no home improvement contractor registration, contractor licence or trade licence of any kind.

Our sole function is to publish information and to pass requests you submit to independent third-party contractors and referral partners. Any work you arrange is performed under a separate contract between you and that contractor. We are not a party to that contract, we do not supervise, direct, inspect, schedule or control the work, we do not set or negotiate prices, and we do not act as your agent or the contractor's agent.

2. No endorsement, no warranty of contractors

Inclusion of a business in our directory, or referral of your request to a contractor, is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification, guarantee or warranty of that business, its licensing, its registration, its insurance, its workmanship, its pricing or its conduct. We do not independently verify the credentials, registration status, insurance coverage, background or competence of contractors, and we make no representation about them.

You are solely responsible for selecting, vetting, contracting with, supervising and paying any contractor. Before you hire anyone in Connecticut you should verify the contractor's Home Improvement Contractor registration with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, obtain current certificates of general liability and workers' compensation insurance, obtain itemised written quotes, and confirm what permits are required and who is pulling them.

Any dispute concerning work performed, quoted, promised or not performed is between you and the contractor. We have no obligation to mediate, adjudicate, refund, remedy or compensate for it.

3. No affiliation with any prior owner of this domain name

The domain name dzenresidentialroofingct.com was acquired after it expired and became publicly available for registration. CT Residential Roof Network is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected in any way to Dzen Residential Roofing LLC of South Windsor, CT, a separate and independent company that previously used this domain name and which, to our understanding, continues to operate. We are not its successor and have acquired no part of its business. We do not use its name, branding, logo, photographs, telephone number, address, licence or registration, and we claim no rights in them.

If you are trying to reach that company, this is not the right website. Please search for it and contact it directly. We cannot forward messages, quotes, complaints, warranty claims or service requests to it. See About this domain.

4. Requests you submit and consent to be contacted

By submitting a request you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that the information you provide is accurate, that the telephone number you supply is yours or that you are authorised to provide it, and that you consent to be contacted at that number by us and by the contractors and partners to whom your request is referred, including by automated dialing, prerecorded or artificial voice, and SMS. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke consent at any time by the methods set out in our Privacy Policy.

You may not submit requests on behalf of another person without their authorisation, submit false or fraudulent information, or use the Site to generate leads for resale.

5. Informational content only

Guides, articles, checklists, emergency steps and FAQs on the Site are general information about residential roofing in Connecticut. They are not professional, engineering, legal, insurance or safety advice, and they cannot account for the condition of your particular building. Do not rely on them in place of an assessment by a qualified professional. In an emergency involving structural collapse, downed power lines, gas or fire, contact emergency services first. Never climb onto a wet, icy or snow-covered roof.

Statements about Connecticut registration requirements, permits, insurance and claims are provided for general orientation, may change, and may not apply to your circumstances. Verify current requirements with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, your municipal building department and your own insurer.

6. Third-party listings and reviews

Business listings, ratings and review excerpts displayed on the Site are supplied by Google and relate to third-party businesses. We do not author, verify, endorse or guarantee them, and they may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. They are displayed for informational purposes with attribution.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to violate any law; to scrape, harvest, crawl at an abusive rate, or bulk download content except as permitted by our robots directives; to reverse engineer or interfere with the Site's operation; to introduce malware; to attempt unauthorised access to any system; or to reproduce, republish or resell Site content without our written permission.

8. Intellectual property

The Site's original text, layout, brand name and design are owned by us and protected by applicable law. Third-party names and marks appearing on the Site remain the property of their respective owners; their use here is nominative and descriptive only and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not warrant that any contractor will contact you, will be available, will quote, or will perform any work.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, property or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or to any interaction, contract, work, defect, delay, injury or damage involving any contractor, whether based in contract, tort, statute or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CT Residential Roof Network and its operators, officers and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability and expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, information you submit, or any dispute between you and a contractor.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable right you have under applicable consumer protection law.

13. Changes and severability

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

14. Contact
