This Privacy Policy explains how CT Residential Roof Network ("we", "us", "our"), operator of dzenresidentialroofingct.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information about visitors and users in the United States. By using the Site or submitting a request through it, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Use.
Who we are. We operate an independent directory and lead-referral service for residential roofing. We are not a roofing contractor, we do not perform home improvement work, and we are not affiliated with any business that previously used this domain name. See About this domain.
Information you give us. When you submit a request form or call the telephone number published on the Site, we collect the information you provide, which typically includes your name, telephone number, email address, ZIP code, the city or town where the property is located, the type of service you need, how urgent it is, any description of the job you write, and the fact and timestamp of your consent to be contacted.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site we may collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, the page you submitted a form from, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We also collect campaign parameters present in the URL you arrived on, such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content and gclid.
Cookies and similar technologies. We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for basic site functionality, measurement and advertising attribution. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal; there is no common industry standard for responding to it, and we treat a recognised Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale or sharing where applicable law requires it.
Business listing data. Where the Site displays third-party business listings and reviews, that information is supplied by Google and relates to those businesses, not to you.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
With contractors and referral partners. This is the core purpose of the Site. When you submit a request, we share the information in that request with one or more independent third-party contractors, contractor networks or lead-buying partners so they can contact you about the work. Once shared, those recipients handle your information under their own privacy policies, over which we have no control. We are not responsible for their practices, and you should review their policies directly.
With service providers. We use vendors for hosting, database storage, form processing, analytics, telephony and call routing, and email delivery. They may process your information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us.
For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information where we believe in good faith it is required by law, subpoena or court order, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of any person.
In a business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Sale or sharing. Because we transfer request information to third-party contractors and lead-buying partners in exchange for consideration, this may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under California and certain other state privacy laws. You may opt out at any time, see section 6.
We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
When you tick the consent box on a request form, you provide your prior express written consent, under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and its implementing rules, to be contacted by CT Residential Roof Network and by the contractors and partners to whom your request is referred, at the telephone number you supplied, including by automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, and by SMS text message.
Consent is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may still request quotes without providing this consent by calling us directly at (800) 555-0214.
How to revoke consent. You may revoke your consent at any time, by any reasonable means. Any of the following is sufficient and will be honoured:
We will process a revocation as soon as practicable and, in any event, within the period required by applicable law. Revoking consent applies to communications from us; contractors who have already received your request are separately responsible for honouring revocation requests you make to them, and you may need to tell them directly. We maintain an internal do-not-call list and honour the National Do Not Call Registry as required. Reply HELP to any message for assistance.
We may still send you transactional messages necessary to complete or close out a request you initiated, as permitted by law.
We retain request information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy and to meet legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and TCPA record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, the business purposes and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a limitation right); and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the preceding 12 months we have collected identifiers, commercial information, internet activity information and inferences as described in section 1, and have disclosed identifiers and commercial information to contractors and referral partners for the purpose described in section 3. To opt out of sale or sharing, use the contact route in section 9 with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information", or send a recognised Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
Connecticut (CTDPA). Connecticut residents have the right to confirm whether we process their personal data, to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. If we deny a request, you may appeal using the contact route in section 9; we will respond to an appeal within the statutory period and, if the appeal is denied, provide a means to contact the Connecticut Attorney General.
Virginia, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. Residents of these states have broadly comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling, together with appeal rights where the applicable statute provides them. We honour these requests on the same basis.
Nevada. Nevada residents may direct us not to sell certain covered information.
How to exercise a right. Submit your request through the contact route in section 9, stating the right you are exercising and the state you reside in. We will verify your identity using the information we already hold, typically the telephone number, email address or ZIP code associated with your request, before acting. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorisation. We do not charge a fee for the first request in a 12-month period, and we will respond within the timeframe required by the applicable state law.
The Site links to third-party websites and displays business information supplied by Google. We do not control those sites or businesses and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or accuracy. Their policies govern your interactions with them.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be indicated by updating that date, and continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
For any privacy request, including access, correction, deletion, opt-out of sale or sharing, appeals or TCPA consent revocation, call (800) 555-0214 and state the nature of your request, or submit it in writing via the request form on any page of the Site with "Privacy Request" in the message field. Include the telephone number or email address associated with your information so we can locate and verify it.
